My girlfriend had never seen this classic waterfall before, so after the rain we got that morning, I knew it’d be flowing good and we drove out to see it.
When I first began visiting this waterfall well over a decade ago, the parking area was just a small muddy area off of the highway. Now it’s been expanded substantially with gravel and the parking is easy for any vehicle. Very convenient!
Our hike was fun and just a couple of hours from sunset, so we only saw a few other people along the way and had the waterfall to ourselves for a while which was a bonus.
It was flowing perfectly and we got photos we were really happy with, and she absolutely loved it. This one is a must see for all Arkansans!
